My Houzz: A Creative and Warm Rented Home brings five friends together - An architectural design Bachelor planted the seed for a welded friendship flourish and last long after graduation. Five young women met while studying the degree and decided to live in a shared house together as they began the next chapter of their lives. By chance, they stumbled across a beautiful old terraced house in one of the most picturesque areas in Sydney, Newtown.
Together they have without their styles combined effort to make the house of five bedrooms a place where they can continue the creative passions and spend quality time together.

The two small rooms are located upstairs in the back of the house and belong to students, Leckie and Coleman, who both part-time jobs. The five roommates have decided to put prices on each bedroom by size, storage space and windows. They put their names for each room according to their budgets and, as Leckie said, "It was perfectly surprising.

For Leckie a room in a shared house is a cherished sanctuary. I did not spend much time in my room at my family home - it has always been pretty messy. But in a shared house, your bedroom is more important because it is your own space to relax, so it's a lot cleaner these days, "she said.

Coleman said she was rather obsessed with finding the perfect bridge for its Ikea mirror - she ended up buying art on king in Newtown. The library which doubles as a bedside table is close to the heart of Coleman, as it has done with wood that his grandfather gave him.
