Nickolls turned the game room at the front of home in a family room and playroom - a place of relaxation that everyone can use on a daily basis. The room has a modern monochrome system to a clean, fresh feeling, while primrose and turquoise cushions of M & S and Tesco add contrast and interest.

"We wanted to do a feature prints of the family of inspiration and so perched on a shelf," says Nickolls. "And we wanted to show the wallpaper without covering the whole."

with room games now a busy family space, the second room has been transformed into a more adult domain where the couple can enjoy time together once tonight that the children are asleep.

"As we have done throughout the house, there was no budget for a new kitchen, so we invested in the family furniture in place and updated walls a different color to create a more inhabited feel, "said Nickolls.
