Houzz Tour: A bright and airy renovated with a touch of style Scandi - As an industrial designer for the likes of worship with years of experience in the restoration of antique and reproduction, Frag Woodall has a keen eye for aesthetic detail. So when he and his wife, Naomi, bought a 1930 brick house threadbare it three years ago, it was not long before Frag began to transform the interior into a soothing, relaxed house reminds a Swedish house summer, making the most of light and greenery overlooking Centennial Park.

MR. Frag
Frag removed the linoleum and carpet of the apartment and painted the floor below white. He also painted walls and white ceilings, but with the added warmth of recycled wood beams that came out of an old bridge. The beams were oiled before installation. In addition to adding heat to the palette of all white, Frag said he wanted beams to give a sense of rhythm and continuity at home, while allowing each room to have its own voice and distinctiveness to prevent blur into nothingness.

AFTER: the main renovated room is fresh and inviting. Frag opted for a true white paint hue without any kind on the walls, ceiling and floors. Although the flat paint is generally used on the ceiling, he decided to use also on the walls. Matt paint is three percent brilliant, but the flat paint contains no bright at all and is not recommended for walls, because it marks easily. AFTER: an old barn door in southern France is an unexpected focal point, soft patina and character requiring no improvement. The handle is from Italy and equipment on top of the door is the United States.
