Houzz Tour: a small flat with two bed a US Clever available - The first vision of a flat design, Amit Malhotra, f ounder ASTREAM of his client and build company in London, knew he had a job on his hands. "The space was completely different before. The previous owner had lived there for 15 years and it was not all that well maintained. The kitchen was closed and, to be honest, it was quite claustrophobic with ceilings only 2.4m high. "
The record was to make this dated, small, two flat beds more livable and bring fresh color and flash, international look for him. This involved knocking down walls and adding a lot of space for wardrobes and a nice selection of furniture, designed to sit low to the ground. "This property is very stylish customer's taste," says Malhotra . "He has a bit of a classic English atmosphere and a contemporary European feel to it."

a crowd planning went into this project before the first wall was knocked down. "When the engineer came to watch the flat, we realized it was a strange construction," Malhotra said. "Two beams holding the roof of the bedroom to the living room, and the rest of the structure is essentially there to create a platform for the loft space. We wanted to open the ceiling to the roof to get around the lack of height, but we could not because of it. "
So instead, Malhotra and the construction team took all the low walls they could, leaving only a few beams." Our scope was to make more room for the bathroom, pushing the kitchen into the living room to create an open space, and take down the walls that divided the two rooms. This project will literally centimeter! "
