Houzz Tour: A Dorset Home Gets a touch of California Beach Chic - 'The moment I walked through the door, I had this feeling and I knew I had to do it! "Said Gabriel Holland, recalling the moment she saw her home in Bridport, Dorset, for the first time. It was, she says, dark, dull and stuck in a rut for attorney 1970s, but she and her husband Alan saw the potential of light and spacious house, they had been seeking.

"There is a bit of a 1960s feel happening in this corner of the room," admits Gabriel. The original master bedroom on the ground floor is now used as a guest room. "I wanted it to be a soothing space," says Gabriel.
