the exterior material palette is influenced by the environment. Cedar wood, oxidized metal and rock are all familiar with this region. simple sheds reflect the style of the ranch-style houses cities, but define different sections in the layout. "It's almost architecture backyard, says Logan.

the wall of the corridor is hand-cut, square Douglas fir logs - a cabin in reference log inspiration of the House. Instead of cutting the large walls of glass windows throughout the house, Logan and his team strategically placed windows key for optimal views.

Wax applied to the oxidized metal on the kitchen island created a feeling of leather, as with the metal on the outside of the house. A shelf walnut with a rim is a minibar and a storage area. The hickory cabinets has an aging stain that will deepen with time.

at each end of the house, in the walls hewn logs extend the length of the hallway outside past. Lanes on each side make the path of the corridor in the landscape.

The provision of three zones form a south courtyard. There are strong winds in this area, but the court remains protected from gusts and gets lots of sun.
