My Houzz: A Growing Family Embrace Their Retro Rented Home in Sydney - Textile designer Bronwyn Ferguson and her husband, Dave Lavelle, knows a thing or two about making the most of what you have. In 2008, the pair snapped this 1970s classic rent in the seaside suburb of Sydney Queenscliff and began to put their stamp on the space. At the time, it was only two of them; Now, seven years later, they have two baby daughters, Billie and Macy's, and their friendly dog Taylor. Instead of migrating to a larger space, however, Ferguson and Lavelle decided to adapt and make the job hire for their growing family.

Despite the rigidity that comes with the update of a rented house, the couple was able to make small changes over the years, which include the installation of new floating floors, suspended fresh curtains, upgrading of the plate cooking and installing a ceiling fan.

Billie chamber is spacious enough for a small child. As Macy enlarges it will resume the bed and Billie moves to a bed With four of us here, we will not be able to keep secrets, Ferguson said.
